I've been working on making a couple of snow textures this weekend. The main sand out thing about snow is the speckles which I'll most likely need to tweak later on when this in in UE4.
It snowed even heavier later on which gave me the chance to take some great reference photos of the snow interacting with the foliage.
I set the material up to tessellate which will need a lot more tweaking yet. I'm debating yet whether to use UE4's landscape terrain or to import my own sculpt from Zbrush.
